HotWheels Haul (and a LEGO racecar set)

The car above was abused by an 8 year old with pliers and I noticed something about the wheel he bent... I proceeded to do this, and I hate every second I have it, but it's so novel.

So I had the opportunity to stop by a Wal-Mart 30 minutes away as opposed to 5 minutes away and took it. The one 5 minutes away sucks and hasn't restocked since New Year. There's 2 Matchbox and about 15 HotWheels, and all are fantasy cars. Now that 30 minute away one... ssscccccooooooorrrrre . (except no LaFerrari which I hate real pictures of but the HotWheels one looks good somehow)

Firstly I got a packaging error car! (I think. It was the only package with red.) I only bought the one with the error because $4 is steep for one car.

Here's all the special editions I got. I liked that '09 Corvette ZR1 and the design of the package... As for the '67 Chevy I just have a thing for Route 66. (These are the only 3 that will stay in their case. I drive my cars.)

'70 Toyota Celica, 1965 Aston Martin DB5, and '92 BMW M5

Toyota 2000 GT, Dodge Challenger drift car, and 2013 SRT Viper (because clearly not a Dodge)

Lamborghini Sesto Elemento and Subaru Impreza WRX because blue.

Then I saw this LEGO set and it was a must have.

That's all. I really hope my local Wal-Mart stocks up again soon... Is there any specific cars I should be looking for at the moment?

My little brother got a plastic gold one plastered in Volcano rally livery. I'm so jelly and now it's thrashed.

Oh no. I think you just got me more than I got you. I've passed over a red one so many times because I didn't quite like it, but now there's 2 other types and I could have four cars that are all the same.

Crap. There should be a disclaimer about extreme possibilities of just wanting more HotWheels when you post a dump.

This site got me hooked back onto Hot Wheels. I haven't played with them since I went to middle school.

Now I have to explain to my RA why every time he walks in there's more Hot Wheels on my desk.

I've been collecting aggressively (without attending bids on boxes or ebay and that stuff) for the past year checking every time I go to a store unless I'm in a hurry. Add that to childhood memory cars and the passive collecting every now and then and I have a huge drawer of cars carefully parked and jammed together.

I hope I'm able to continue to passively collect cars every time I go to a store too throughout my entire college 4 years so I can look back then to see how many cars I bought :D

That flushed STI is heartbreaking yet awesome at the same time lol. Good picture of it! Also, the Lego set plus the fact that I watched the Lego movie last weekend makes me really really want to buy Legos now.....MUST RESIST!!!

About 4 years ago I sold all of my Legos (sad day) and have not bought any since. I had lots of technic parts along with the brick style. Lots of great memories.

Sadly I don't ever get doubles. I've never done the trading thing either. My local store that sucks is finally getting a shipment of HotWheels and Matchbox tonight. I'm really hoping they have LaFerrari's

I didn't see a single LaFerarri until this past weekend, and then they were everywhere. So, hopefully you will get lucky when your store restocks. If you ever do end up with a double or have to have something someone posts, check out the hot wheels exchange post by mycarneverruns. Its just something fun to do, with other hot wheels aficionados here.

I could never have enough 64 Contintentals, one of my favorite cars. What are the 2 colors you have? I've got a dark blue, red with flames, and light blue with purple accents already.

So it turned out that I had the red one instead of the blue which I had sent to a friend. I did go through my collection last night and came up with two cars you may be interested in though. A Healy from 2000 and a Pikes Peak Celica from 1998 I believe since I know you like rally cars and this is the closest I have. What do you think?
